Mystic Farm

This is our second year and is now established as our family tradition. This is a family owned and operated tree farm and I LOVE it!! They have some small refreshments and you can wonder through beautiful trees to pick what fits your family best! It really does bring family and traditions to the forefront in a time when things are so chaotic.

We have had the tree for a full 4 days and the branches have not relaxed. We have kept it watered. When I called to ask the owners, she basically said: oh well, that sucks. Put some ornaments on it to weigh it down. So I started to decorate, lightly pressing the branches down to get the lights in and branches are snapping. For 175$, this is completely disappointing. (Full picture is the day we got it, second picture is tonight as I’m typing this).

We’ve gone here two years in a row for Christmas trees. We usually go the day after Thanksgiving to have the tree up and decorated for the first day of Advent. It is a smaller tree farm, but we’ve been pleased with the selection and quality of the trees available. The staff are very helpful and assist with transporting and securing the tree to the top of your car. The trees are displayed by sections of height. We usually go 5 to 6 feet tall, due to the size of our living room. We appreciate that the trees are kept in a bowl of water, which makes a big difference in how long the tree will stay healthy once you get it home. Other stores like Lowe’s or Home Depot don’t display their trees in the water bowl and the trees dry out much faster. The trees from Mystic Farm have been consistently fragrant and keep their needles. We will continue to shop here for the proximity to our side of Greenville, the excellent quality of the trees, the selection available, and the fair pricing.

We cut a beautiful tree, reasonably priced. The family/staff were super duper nice! We also bought some yummy kettle corn. Had a lovely time, highly recommend!

Came across Mystic Tree Farm after a quick search online. The reviews were great and it was on our way back home to South Florida. What great service! Before arriving, we called in to find out what trees were in stock and order a garland. We arrived about an hour later and it was set-up and ready to go. We were lucky as they are fulfilling many orders, so we recommend ordering a garland or wreath with ample time. Once we arrived, we picked a Fraser fir we liked and cut down a second tree (Blue Ice). Since they knew we had a ten hour drive ahead of us, they provided us with a few tips that came in handy. We arrived home at night, left them in water, and set them up a couple of days thereafter. One month later and the trees are still healthy, holding up their color, and have a nice aroma, while the garland is still intact. We are extremely happy with our purchase, thank you!
